Hand-cut vs computer-cut

Hand-cut on a glass board. Fitted to your car. Every piece of film is hand-cut on a glass board, then applied to your car. We never cut on your glass — that's how defroster lines get scratched. Many shops use a plotter: film cut from a pattern database and trimmed short so it clears the gasket without hand-fitting. Within a season it shows as a thin line of light around the edges. Our micro edge sits right to the gasket. Come see it on a finished car at the shop.

Can't be without your car? Drop it off the night before.

Tuesday through Thursday, drop your car at close (by 6 PM) and pick it up the next day. We photograph your car at check-in so you see its condition before we touch it. Text Nick to reserve an overnight spot.

How long does tint take?

Most cars take about two to three hours in the bay. Book a 10:00 AM or 12:00 PM slot, or text Nick your year, make, and model. You can drive the car when the install is finished.

Can I drive right after?

Yes. You can drive the car when the install is finished. Keep the windows up while the film cures. The aftercare page has the cure rules.

How long before I roll windows down?

Keep the windows up for 3 to 5 days. Haze and small water bubbles clear on their own as the film cures. Do not clean the glass for a week. After that, use a soft cloth and an ammonia-free cleaner.

What's the difference between carbon and ceramic?

Solar Carbon is the entry film. Solar Ceramic rejects more heat. Premium Ceramic IR is the top film tier. Text Nick the year, make, and model and he will say which film fits the car. A Payment Plan is available.

How dark can I go legally in California?

California front side windows are 70% VLT, and we install fronts to that spec. Rear side glass and the back glass can go darker. Full windshield film is not legal in California. Text Nick before you add a windshield strip.

Do you tint windshields?

Yes. A windshield strip and a full windshield are two different products. Full windshield film is not legal in California. Text Nick the year, make, and model and he will say which option fits.

Do you remove old tint?

Yes, when it is part of a new tint job. There is no posted removal price. Ask Nick. He texts the quote for your year, make, and model.

Do you offer a payment plan?

Yes. A Payment Plan is available. Open the Payment Plan page to apply, or text Nick and he will send the link. Booking a slot does not take a deposit.

Do I need an appointment?

Yes. Book a slot or text Nick. Same-day is possible if you arrive at 9:30 opening, Monday through Saturday. Sunday the shop is closed.

Can I drop my car off overnight?

What warranty do you give?

30-day written workmanship warranty on installed products. Film and hardware carry the manufacturer's own warranty.
